Today I acquired a Super XL Limited Edition. I have a old Super XL Auto, should I use the Limited Edition for parts or is it more valuable the way it is? The Super XL has a broken piston, but other than that is it pristine condition.:chainsaw:

If you watch e-bay, you should be able to find anything you want for the Super XLs. You can probably get most of your parts new and in the package if you're lucky.

They are both only worth about $100 each at the max, in perfect condition. There are thousands of those saws all over the country still being used. They are both good saws and very durable, but unless one of them is still in a box with the original tags and no fuel run through it, it will take a while before they become 'collectors items', and require big $$$$ to get one.

Than it sounds like I made a good trade. I was only going to get $8.00 for my alum. wheels at the scrap yard. This guy told me he would trade me straight across the saw for the wheels. Once I got it home and started looking it over, this saw is almost like brand new. The paint isn't even wore off the saw, just very dirty from being stored for who knows how long.
