Homelite xl-76 Recoil

Hi All,

Was given an xl-76 today with the only thing wrong with it is that the stud in the recoil cover that retains all the "guts" is broken off. Looking for a replacement recoil or the cover. Anyone got one they want to part with?

Bump back up. No one has one. What about a recoil from a different Homie? Is anything interchangable? Can it be repaired? I will post a photo of the broken off stud. Help!

Hi Mike,
This looks identical to the XL-123 and VI-200s I have. I think all of the XL-1xx series used the same. I think I know a place on ebay that's selling one. I'll PM you with a link if I can find it. Only difference will be it won't say XL-76 on it.

Actually I just noticed your XL-76 doesn't have a wire screen around the outside either, so that will be another difference as well. I assume yours has a wire screen bolted to the flywheel like the XL-12s.
