i cant belive there is another person on this Earth that has that saw

i was given a saw identical to that...i believe the manual too if that is what you are looking for

i did get the saw running...but had a pressure problem...that i was told to be notorious to that saw...so best of luck

I have one, no need to restore it!!! I bought it brand new in 1978. The worst thing on those are the fuel lines rotting, and the vibration cutting. I bought it because the other little saw I was looking at then had no piston rings!!!
I also have a XL1 and the original owners manual, it runs and cuts like new.Have had it 20 years. Paid $25 for it and I think about $80 for the XL.:biggrinbounce2:
 
Hey, me too, I got mine for 5 bucks at a yard sale last summer. It turned over with a bit of mix in the carb, I haven't played with it since but I will eventually. retro little unit.
 
The only problem I have right now thats stopping me from tearing it apart and trying to fix it is its snowing outside......
