I have an old Zip myself, and I need that starter cup also. If anyone has an extra I'd like to buy it. This old saw and I cut a lot of wood together, and I had it running about a month ago, but as was said, if that cup is worn it won't catch. JR

jr i can get the starter cups but the starter housing itself i am not able to find

Mine's missing that part too. Someone replaced it with stainless screen.

Tom what year is your zip 58 or 59 or is it a A series or B series of zip

Bryce fixed me up with a recoil. Maybe I'll get the P&C decarboned this week and we can see this old thing come back to life.

Brad... the wife was headed ths way anyways. Do you see your 10-10 part in here somewhere? The rewind is missing some screws, but I think the spindle asssembly is in good shape.

I checked on my saws and one is a Wiz, the other one is a Zip. I did not see anything about an A or B, but the serial # is 859714 if that helps. I need a piston and cylinder for either saw. Thanks Tom
