How long has it been since the Stihl model # change?

ie...MS 021 and now its MS 210??? Just trying to date a saw.

A local guy has a MS021 for sale and it is pretty clean and runs good but he has no idea how old it is. If I could get it for $225 is that a good deal? He also will through in a couple extra chains...

Way too much $, I think. My guess is, retail on a new 210 is about $250, or less.

Not in Canada.....I don't recall what the 210's were going for but the 180's were $299

He has an 021, not an MS210... It could be as old as the early-mid 90's, but too expensive anyhow.. Offer him $100
