I live up here in Seward, Alaska and we have had a near record snowfall year. I have been trying to grow some Sour Cherry trees and Crab Apple trees. Every fall I cut some long Alder trees and form a teepee and wrap it with visquenne to protect the trees. This year I know for sure that several of the teepees have caved in and I can't see the other yet. I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas on how to protect these trees from snow damage? One of the trees is seven years old and about ten feet tall and it's starting to get difficult to cover it. Thanks
