Mebbe I'm pregnant...... :Eye: :Eye:

Hey Bodean, Mrs Tree Machine read your kind passage and she said, "Hey, I like that guy." Then she perks up and says, "Hey, is that the John Paul I met at the Baltimore EXPO?"

Bodean, I'm glad you shared the accident with your buds. In this business it is so very, very important to be so very aware. Accidents happen so quickly and of all the people I've ever talked to, one theme keeps coming back consistently: The accident was preventable.

Am I an MVP? Wow. Seems like just yesterday Elizabeth was going, "Hey, come check this out. I found this place called 'ArboristSite."

Don't laugh, but might support hose help? I know a few people with legs injured from various accidents(mainly jumping), and some of them swear by its use. In fact when they don't use it their leg swells. Ask your specialist. Glad to hear you are on the mend.

Thanks Jumper.

Oh boy..... Yes, they sent me home from the hospital with support hose. Once the leg was healed enough to put the thing on, I tried it out. It was skin-tight and bright white. It was so girly-girl girl-man that I couldn't deal with it. The Summer was very hot here, and that became a convenient excuse for not wearing it as I was in shorts for months.

I will wear it, though, when I eventually get back to work this Winter. It'll help keep the leg warm as well as keep the swelling down. the girly-girl excuse won't fly as no one will be aware of it except me. I wish it weren't so bright white.

Hey, tomorrow I go in for more X-rays. I'll post them. Thanks, Guys.

Look for them in other colours....my friend's were more the colour of skin tone and not quite so noticeable. You're right about it not being so noticeable under pants. which real men wear to work even in 100F heat LOL.
Seriously, give these a try, another friend lost all the "meat" on his lower leg and ankle due to a mountain climbing accident during which his foot was all but severed from his leg, and he also swears by the stuff. You leg will thank you.
