Just checking to see how you guys are doing.I was surprised march, april, may and june are fairly decent.Knowing or assuming july would be a little slow because of graduations, july 4th.Things have slowed down some.Im thinking august will be slow people on vacation or staycation and thinking about their kids going back to school buying clothes.Appreciate the input hope everyone is doing well.

All of a sudden it is SLOW here. Seems to be picking up a little though. Just picked up a monster dead takedown. I'll have to post pictures when we do that beast...... Mike

I have been slow most of this year but have just had a flurry of work this past two weeks. I'm booked out for a couple of weeks. Been tough work in 100+ temps for the past week though.

me busy

jan and feb was dead but I've have a good year so far---booked about 3-4 weeks out and still getting calls.

As of April 1st the phone has been ringing off the hook. Keep in mind, I'm a weekender so my schedule is booked but thats far less that others that do it full time. Right now, if I answered no more calls, I'm booked through August and that's not one job one day but mutiple jobs. I'm already advertising reminding people to set up their winter projects. Never too late.

That is it I am moving:rant: It is slow but had some work not enough though I like to stay hooked up usually but you guys know it is feast or famine in this biz.

PS I ain't movin yet:monkey:

Work is good, its the middle of winter here (but its not like your guys winter, its sweater weather with the odd morning frost) so the weather is messing us around but we have a few weeks of work ahead of us, including some contract climbing for other companies.

report from the oppisite end of the island to timber, its ticking along sweet as at the moment, did a big ol pohutukawa tree in a stunning bay up today and got 4 other jobs from it, been pricing heaps of work, if i get everything i have priced i am royally screwd. good enough to be looking at a new bigger chipper.

busy as hell here.

i think people are realizing they better get stuff done now before any more of Obama's dumb ideas or they won't have the money to do anything in the future.

Abysmally slow here, earlier in the year I was working regularly, but shorter hours. My clients would try to get me off the clock as soon as I hit the ground

Now the days are the same, but it is more like twice a week. All I am doing is keeping up with bills, and waiting for school to start.

Picking up great now, bids to do and I'm booked to the end of Aug. Alot of stump work this year.:dizzy:
