Husky 232R initial carb settings

Anyone know what the initial carb settings are for a 232R? I opened up the muffler and cut the limiters, but now can't get it to idle for any length of time. I've tried 1, 1.5, and 2 turns out from lightly bottomed. It starts, idles up way too fast, and then dies. I was thinking air leak and rechecked the carb mounting screws, but they're good. It ran fine before I started messing with it. :bang:

fuel lines swapped positions?

Or did you even have the lines disconnected?

I had one line on the primer pump disconnected but not the main line from the tank. I'm starting to think that the line I disconnected may be letting air in. It is stiff and old and it went back on way too easy. I'm going to replace all the fuel lines and fuel filter while I have it taken apart and see if that helps the situation any.

Anyone have a workshop manual for it? All Husky has online is the owners manual and an IPL.

I found the setting on a google search. 1 to 1.25 off bottom for both high and low.

Now for the fuel line and filter.
