husky 240

when did husky stop making the 240. I have had this saw for about 12 years , and it seemed old when I bought it used, but it is still going strong. any muffler mods to open it up a little.

I think they stopped before they started. I never heard of a 240 Husky. They made a 242 and a 40.

The saw says 240s on the serial tag. It has a white top , and has points for ignition. This makes me think it is pretty old. also no chain brake or hand guard
