Husky 254 piston and cylinder to 51

Just wondering will this combination work. Have a Husky 51 with a bad piston and cylinder and would like to put in a piston and cylinder out of a Husky 254. Any thoughts? Thanks

I can't see that combination because of the stroke difference and different base bolt pattern. Anything is possible if you have the time, tools and knowledge, Really it is not feasible though. If you want a quick and easy combination put the Husky 55 piston and cylinder on your 51. That should be a simple bolt-on and you will garner a few extra CC's. Mike
