Husky 257

[Fish]

Had some kids bring by a 257 yesterday, looking to sell it.
It looked in good condition, and looked pretty well made. How
much did this saw sell for new? I am sure the saw was hot,
so I didn't bite. A regular customer brought it in today, he
bought it for $100, did he get a "steal"? I tried the rubbing
compound and didn't see any green

i have a 257 here that seems to be a good little saw. it is by no means a 357 but it has cut some wood at a good pace.
