Guy had these made to put on 346 353 etc series saws. So they don't weeble wobble and fall down on side.

Said he uses them on all his saws.

So told him send one my way.

Getting ready to have someone in CRG make another batch so others can get them. Seems to be wanted by alot of folks there.

Looks similar to a custom spike I bought years ago. I’d have the bottom point reconfigured so it doesn’t point up. Can’t dog into a large log until you’re half way through it. Might work fine on 6-12” stuff.

Havent even mounted mine yet to see. Thanks for info.

Might give feedback in the thread in CRG before they make a run of them.

That 1/4” mini micro does just what I wanted for clean fruit tree pruning cuts.
V-modest 2511 clone of the echo.

Cutting some dead out from a past storm.

I wanted to angle it forward more like oem. Kevin brought up he noticed a issue if cutting bigger wood.
Best I can do with what I had to work with.

Can’t do it like Kevin showed me how he would add the lower differently.

What’s that old saying by hacks.
😉
Good enough for who it is for. :p

Yesterday I was curious. Since I can run K095 K041 A041 bars on echo 490 501 etc when changing 3/8LP 325 3/8 etc.

Here is K216 echo bar on top pf the K095 bar to show the differences. Little work with round file on K216 and would fit the K095 saw too.

K095 top in separated pic and K216 bottom

Just like having bars that I can throw on different saws when needed.

So how do you feel about the Makita 50cc saw (s). They still can be had new in the box. Your thread here is two non strato closed port saws. Seems the Makita one and some earlier grey market Stihl ones fall in this category.
Makita 5100/5105 is the SMOOTHEST cutting saw you can buy in 50cc
It also has more torque in the wood as well

Downside = HEAVIEST of the 50cc saws weighing in just under 12lbs versus the 10.5lb Echo

Echo's have the MOST vibration versus Makita/Dolmar, Stihl, Husqvarna, Jonsered

359 PHO dry weight as empty as I could with some residue in tanks. Maybe even some chips and oil dust here and there.

Add some for that pipe too.
