Please be kind now. Where does the black grounding wire from the kill switch harness connect? I took the harness off when doing some other work on the saw and have forgot where I put the harness and how the black wire hooks up. It has to go to a grounding screw some where. A pic or drawing would be very helpful. Thanks Mike
 
By the grounding plate I'm assuming you mean the flat spring in the switch? Or am I missing something? I don't use this saw much but i do like it. Have just choked it to stop but it doesn't like to be choked. Thanks Mike

Because they are plastic cases and the coil mounts in what might be considered normal position for a mag cased saw, not bolted to the cylinder as with other clamshell type saws- they have a metal plate the coil mounts on which is attached to the engine to ground the coil.
