I rebuilt a HUSKY 350 just for kicks and curiosity. Now I would like to pass it on but with a catch.
I'll put this ported cylinder and base adapter on YOUR saw, $150 for this Meteor cylinder kit + whatever parts your saw might need, n/c labor but I want you to post a review in the chainsaw forum here, hopefully with video comparing a stock 350 or a 346.

Here's the thread telling about the rebuild; http://www.arboristsite.com/community/threads/husky-350-blues.261272/

So the cylinder and adaptor from your build are going in a donor saw for 150$? Is that right? I am a little slow today. Where did you get the cylinder kit? I have a 350 I was gonna mess with that needs a piston so I am curious. Thanks, Russ

That's right, the cylinder that's on my saw right now will go on the donor saw. The Meteor kit came from Bailey's via RiverLogger when I bought his 353.

OK, I read and posted on that thread I believe. Good luck with your deal. So is that poor old 353 in a basket now? Russ

The 353 is together, outward appearance, including a new Oregon Pro Lite bar and on display in my front room. I'll be ordering a new piston kit in a few days.

The 350 will get a whole different personality after this deal is done. He's going to be my "Gas mizer" saw. 200 psi and low rpm.
