What is everyone's opinion? Is this doable?

I'm working on this fall-back plan because the 372XP I just bought will not fire up. I now have a 2nd 24" bar and chain.

My next clearing job is a downed oak with 27" diameter near the base. Is this going to put a detrimental load on the engine and drivetrain? I want to be mindful of the load, and focusing on letting the saw just work at it's own pace.

455R uses Husky small mount K095. Husky 372XP uses Husky large mount D009.

So unless those bars are small mount to fit your 455R it will not work. Sure a 455R can use a bar that size, will cut much slower of course. If you need to go buy a 24" bar specially for that 455R why not just get the 372XP working as that would be a better option.
