I have a husky 455 ,runs great . having some trouble with a low amount of oil to the bar. I have rinsed tank and inspected oil filter looks good ,cleaned bar groove out and oil holes, oiler adjustment set to high ,,coupla years ago replaced all rubber oil lines and pump ,pump gear, but I was wondering is there a oil tank vent? that maybe i to replace, if so where is it? found the one for the fuel tank.

the weather is supposed to be bad tomorrow so I will disassemble it and take a look at it , drum bearing could use greasing anyway.

Also i became accustomed to my old homelite super ez autos and the echo cs670 having tsunami flood oilers that I thought my 350,545,555, and t435 had oil issues. They all oil just enough that the bars and chains are not overheating. Could this be the case with yours. It is my experiance the 455 and 460 can *just adequately* oil bars up to 24in, and 28in just enough to keep from damage.

ok I see the fuel tank vent as item # 15 ,is the items 10 -11 called duck bill and plug the oil tank vent?? I took off the metal oil pump cover plate and blew out the saw dust made sure that the rubber hoses were in good shape and did not see any trash in the outlet of the pump. reassembled it and it is oiling well again? but I would have blown air around around part 10 -11 ,maybe that was restricted??
