A local discount builders supply near me used to advirtise cheap chainsaws and other power tools and they were clearly marked as factory reconditioned units. I have a feeling any state attorney general would have something to say about a manufacturer selling seconds without advirtising them as such. I have a Sears repair center near me and could buy a "reconditioned" piece of power equipment if I wanted. My point is: if it's a factory reject, second, or recon unit it had better be marked as such.

"people in general are not as stupid as they appaer,"

You have got to be kidding? Right? My experience is people are actually more stupid than they appear. A comedian, Bill Engvall, once suggested that the stupid people needed to wear signs to warn the rest of us. Where's your sign? (ONLY KIDDING,Laugh it's Christmas)

More on topic, seconds and refabs have to marked as such. Most(not all) of the huskies you find in the box stores are Orange Poulans anyhow.

Did you read the part about natural selection? For the most part stupid people stand out, and thats why they appear to be in greater numbers. I belive that when a stupid person gets killed doing stupid things its natural selection..and wheres your sign?:D

A mockery of Bill Engval's shark-bite suit routine

:All right now. What we want you to do is take this pos poulan and race it against this man's 088 Kd
:Here, hold my sign i don't want to loose it
:Got that poulan ready; looks bad
:Now remember your saw brand is self-descriptive.
:Your gonna have to keep on pullin and pullin until you decide to use it as a boat anchor or it finally cranks but by that time the log will be gone
