Wow, looky there! That looks like a shelf full of 'homeowner' Stihls. I guess you keep the 'pro' saws locked in the vault? Bwahhahahahahahaha! And is that my favorite...a MS390 on the right there? LOL! What sucker are you selling that one to?

G....the 455 Rancher actually has more horsepower than your precious MS260....

The real issue is that in two hundred running hours time the 455R will be trash and the 260 will be nicely run in.

200 hour saw vs 2000 hour saw. It's pretty simple.

Most people won't put 200 hours on a saw in their life. Most pros don't want to buy a new saw every month or so.

It's only "simple" if you ever use the saw for more than 200 hours. Like if you're a professional logger or firewood cutter.

If it's a shelf queen or you're afraid to use it for fear of dirtying it or it losing 'value'...then you've wasted your money. You've ended up with a tool that will never earn back the money you paid for it, and one you rarely if ever use.

By the way, 200 hours is sawing 8 hours straight for 25 days straight. That's almost a month of solid sawing....just sawing, not everything else that goes with cutting.

Thall, you're the only 'pro' tool polisher around here that I know of. Dam good job you do too. I'm surprised you haven't moved to Simi Valley already.

And lest you forget, I would no sooner "work for you" than I would for any other tool (or tool polisher). Bwahahahaha!

Who owns that shop by the way?

Fresh outa Sap's shop;

Handlebars - carved with the 455 Rancher :hmm3grin2orange:

Frame rails & forks - milled with the MS 390

Well durn Sap I guess I shoulda told ya when ya came to work with me that I , yup, little ole, built the shop with em my own two hands, tat be a fact. Rest of da place belongs to a 100 million dollar outfit Sap. With money like that thats how come we got over a 100 grand worth of Stihl in stock. With so much to choose from selling 4 grand worth like I did today is easy. I see ya did notice how clean everything is, theres a reason for that Sap, its called being top notch. Sides we don't like any dust on the merchandise for most of our customers are kinda picky about that. You know what being picky is I'm sure(hehe) Now I see you say your not gonna work for me no more, well thats fine. I'm glad ya didn't put ya two weeks notice in for now I get the pleasure to fire ya on the spot. You fired Sap. I'm gonna take ya name off my sign too. Ole orenry cuss like you don't deserve to have ya name on up on the shop sign that sells the Preferred Brand. Fore I give you your last two quarters, ya final paycheck I want ya to see one thing on the saw rack that you will not see at any other brand dealer, ya ready ole buddy. This is gonna be hard for ya to swoller but worse than that when ya sit on the pot you won't be able to pass it either,lolol, sorta like crow Sap, ya gots to eat a tad now and then to get educated. So Sap heres ya sign.

Thankya kindly there Ultra. Though I've fired Sap for being just too much trouble and this and that he is still what, yup you got it, he's still MA FREND. I gotta remove his name from the shop sign now, dang he's lotta trouble, causing me all this extra work and all but ya know what, even so, yup you got it, he's still MA FREND. Sap is many things to all of us, some not so good I admits but to me he will always be what, yup, you got it, MA FREND. I'm off to take the sign down and change it and if ya see Sap out there looking sad being unemployed and all remind him of what, yup, tell him, thats right, he's still MA FREND........................

Hey Thall, why would you want a sappy flake for a frend?

BTW, Nice display... I only sold $2k yesterday. Damn, there goes my bonus. oh, did sell an MS880, but that won't hit the books until Monday :)

Hey Sap, used one of my 2000 hour saws today for only 5 hours, then I washed it with the hose and buffed it a little. I quess a sap-head just throws his in the tool box with the rusting Ryobi. You ever going to use it again now you're done with the cedar in the driveway?
