After peeling stickers the orange doesn’t match. I feel like I’ve diminished it’s collectibility status. I also replaced the green fuel cap with a flip-cap. Certainly we can all agree that flip caps are the new “must-have” accessory on the show saw circuit. I kept the green cap so purists can restore it.

All the Husky saws I do a complete tear down and clean end up a bit lighter on color. I use water based parts cleaner solution which is basically a stronger Simple green. Still looks orange in my eyes.

Collectible? Not so much... at least now anyways. Maybe in the future? Who knows.

Just kidding about collectibility. It seems even Husky fans have a hard time liking the 141. No matter, mine runs good. Seems like it was "outsided" a lot given the plastic fade. Or near a window. My saw box is badly faded from sitting near garage window.

For fun I may try some automotive cleaner wax. Jist to see what happens.
