I have a used Stihl 046 piston and cylinder that has been sitting around the shop for years. The area where the piston runs in the cylinder is shiny but looks runable to me.
I also have a Husqvarna 346xp piston and cylinder. I recently got this saw as you see it in the picture with the cylinder off. The cylinder looks good to me with very minor streaks. Could clean up or run as-is. The piston has bit of "road rash" on the intake side for traveling with out the cylinder. I can barely feel it with my fingernail.

I will also sell the 346 rear handle, case, flywheel, blue ignition. The saw had a crank falure where the WS and GS came out of time.
