Guys

My 350 trigger seems loose like the front tip won’t stay in the fulcrum. Which caused me to notice that it didn’t have a steel hinge pin. It hadn’t fallen out, it simply was never there. Am I the only one with a pin-less 350 trigger?

I suppose I’ll add one. Just can’t imagine someone got away with the idea that it wasn’t necessary. On the other hand, I’ve had the saw since late 90’s and only just now noticed the absence.

Trigger and safety have holes for hinge pins. Handle has impressions where holes COULD go. But alas, no holes or pins.

AHAH! SOLVED. I'd accidentally displaced the trigger a bit while detail-cleaning the handle. When the trigger came partially out the tail of the spring came out of the proper cavity of the safety lever.

With the spring in correct slot the spring provided forward pressure on trigger, keeping its hinge seated in the pin notches. With spring out of the slot there was nothing holding the trigger tight in the hinge pin seats.
