Hi Mange, I took that pic at Gib Lanes house. There was about 15 bush cords of saws piled up along his garage.
Walt Galer also talked of a Frontier saw in the bar he hung out at near Eureka Montana. I went looking for Walt there in 2002, but never found him.

Whats happened to McCulloch in the States ??
Are they just into selling toys now or what ?
Black and gold would have looked a lot better than white and orange thing on the end of those logs.

Some times, Rich, it might be possible to think you weren't my friend...

I guess I hadn't thought so much how great it was that he bought a Stihl over an Elux.  It was really more of a congratulating him on doing the research and deciding on a saw.  As I recall, in the original thread I suggested several times he get the 353 out of the list of possibles he provided.  Naturally, I made mention of why I prefer Stihls, and might have even "uttered" MS250 once, but I did not try to divert him from his list.

He saw the light all on his lonesome.  hahaha!

Rest assured I would have congratulated him on anything except maybe a Wild Thing.
