I recently bought a 372 of 98'.

After removing the spark plug, I noticed a large amount of carbon deposits, so I decided to clean it

It turned out that the C / P set is 47 mm
Were they in this configuration??

I'm no expert on them but I think it should be 50mm. Someone may have put 48mm p/c from a 365 on it.

The first 365sp's had open port 48mm cylinders but I think they were mahle and had bolt on intakes

I thought about that too. But why is my c/p 47mm when the 365 is 48mm? Unless I don't understand something.

The bore of the cylinder should be 48mm the piston of course would be a little smaller so it will fit in the bore. Are your calipers zeroed?

I just looked on mike acres site and a 362xp is a 47mm bore. Must be it was changed at some point.

yes, I measured correctly. The caliper is good.

I didn't think there was someone wearing c/p from 362 . For the future, I ordered a 50mm mahle set. Thanks for the help
