its a 24" with a skip, works well, I massaged the motor gently, pulls it quite well in our Fir, Cedar and Spruce trees.
I am working on a Husqvarna 61 for my dad and since he bought it used we don't know anything about it yet. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. He got the saw without the top cover (of course) so I don't even have a guess on year of manufacture. I assume it is older because of the style of the chain brake. I know some of you guys are really good with identification of these saws. I am also trying to find some downloadable parts diagrams. Thanks for your help!
The serial number leads me to believe a 1986 mfg year

Nice clean 61. Mine is a white top 61, it's actually dated 1983. There's a few here sawtroll included that can date them by the code. I think they went gray around 85.
