Its out and available in some markets, checked with The big H here in Canada and nobody knows of it yet (nice to keep current guys!).

Anybody have a part number for it yet?

IIRR...A week or so ago a dealer (on this site) got a repair manual for the Stihl or Husky autos.

Almost everything on the saw in regards to the auto-tune repair...was Replace It.

I was very interested up to that point...NOT anymore..!!

It is listed in the IPLs for the 560-series, the kit is 576 69 23-01 (576 18 34-01 for the cable only).
I guess it is in the IPLs for other models as well.

The tool is similar to the the hook up I saw a few years back, but that one was read only.
The new tool has the ability to retrieve running information in the format of ambient and carb temperatures (both extremes and averages) functions test of the compontents, starting history, etc... The tool has the means to extract the error codes stored withing the module, and permits software upgrades...............so what does that all mean to the naysayers..........

Within another year one will be able to re-map the carb micro processor (essentially what a factory software update would do) and when its all figured out by a non company guru I am sure alot more potential will be unleashed.
