Just picked it up about an hour ago. I won't be able to cut anything with it for a while though.........to much snow!

Well I hope you get a chance to use it soon! All the snow here melted and it is +12c or around 52f something like that not good at converting! Almost time to go out and shoot gophers!

20" bar is a sensible bar length, imo.....
I believe a 16" should accompany it for smaller wood, with an 8-pin sprocket....

NYH1 , I don't see the MS290 in the signature anymore , does this mean that you have converted ?

My friend is going to do some drywall work for me so I'm giving it to him. I'll be the first to say my 029 was and still is an excellent saw. It served me well and is still in great shape. I would recommend one in a heartbeat if the person had the same needs out of a chain saw as I did when I bought mine. My needs have changed a little over the years. I wasn't really looking for a saw as large as the 365 but it was to good of a deal to pass up. $537 plus tax with a 20 b&c and a extra chain from a full servicing and stock deal that 5 minutes from my house. I just thought it was the right thing to do. I still need a 50cc size saw. I'll probably go with another Husky from the same dealer. The extra chain they gave me is H48 072G (3/8 .058"). I'm assuming it the same chain that came on the saw. I'll have to check.

That's good news , I was starting to think that you were going to become a chainsaw nut and own more than five saws .

We'll start praying that the drywall guy stiffs you so you can hang on to the saw.:hmm3grin2orange:
I'm hoping that the drywall guy isn't going to use the MS290 to cut your drywall .

Saws in the size range of your 365 are good with the 20" as an all-around size. My buddy has been quite pleased with a 20" on his ex-HD Rental 6401. A 16" would be nice, too, if you're of a mind to have more than one bar/loop length for that powerhead, especially if you aren't running big west coast dawgs and want a more nimble saw for those times where you're not going to be using the entire 20" of bar.
