Hell, i can settle this, buy the saw back and i'll buy it for the $125 i,ve been looking for a winter project anyway, as long as all the screws are there and the bearings and seals are good, i don't mind the air filter missing or a burnt cylinder/piston. I can always look here on AR for parts. Then we are all happy again.

Thanks for all the replys. I now realize how important describing the top end is even on a PARTS SAW. I will not make this mistake again. The member will be contacted and I will refund his money no problem, less shipping, as soon as the saw hits my doorstep.

I feel bad this had to happen like this I will take blame for not putting up a full description of each and evey part on and off of a PARTS SAW.

I think that's a fair solution here, no harm, no foul, and just a little lunch money lost. Kudo's to BB on that, and kudo's to all the members that stepped up and offered to buy out the problem. That's big!

Belgian,
Basically that the buyer failed to perform a thorough investigation into what exactly he/ she was buying, especially since the saw was listed as a "parts saw" There are other uses/ definitions of the term, but the one I was alluding to was the casual definition above.

I also agree that the description could have been improved by the additional information concerning the piston and cylinder condition, but the fact is that it seems to be common knowledge that a "parts saw" generally has a fragged piston and / or cylinder.
