Thanks, to describe the wood I`d have to say it was like cuttting 3 year dead punky oak . Or maybe a strong version of styrofoam. The wood is weak crap and I don`t see any use for it once its cut. The saw is a new Dolmar ps-7900 with a 22" bar ( only big mounty Husky bar I had laying around ) not nearly long enough for the saw but it cut like a light saber.
