Yes it was. It was traded to me for cleaning/tuning up a fellows 2 Husky firewood saws. Here’s some before pics. The answer to the question is “mud daubbers”.

I have to say this.. I bought a beautiful KS piston/cylinder set (used) from Custom Chainsaw Parts for around $60 for the saw. It has incredible compression and pulls like a freight train.
