Could be a carb issue still, impulse or seals, try gas down the carb with a dry plug. If no go the a flywheel key or crank seali got an echo cs-400 that i can't get to start again , rebuilted carb with new kit , remove caps on l an h i got spark any ideas ??

How many turns out are the low and high, if around 1 1/2 or less it will never start. Start at 4 turn out and then gradually back in. Steve
Hi Steve i got that bastard fired for the first time since a long long time but she ran for 2 to 3 minutes and stall never ran again do think it's a needle probrem ??? it's seem to get flooded . thanks for help you gave me the best advice yet. i still hate that sawHow many turns out are the low and high, if around 1 1/2 or less it will never start. i got it fired again but not for long i have done what the expert said 4 tuns on l and h and now it's turn to carb issue now !!!Do what he says, his an expert on Echo. If all else fails I may have a coil from a CS-4400 pretty much the same saw.

nothing is cheap on these saws carb =100$ coils ??? parts are so high expensives that peolpe don't want to pay for fixing them just put in junk and an buy another one every things now are not made to last long like old days.Well, at least you didn't buy a new coil.......
