I just got done getting my saw to stop flooding and run right. It was the metering lever that came in the kit you have to set them to the same height as the factory one. if too far down its to lean, if too high it will flood and it becomes a bear to set. I don't know if you replaced it when you did the carb but if you did that may be one thing to look at.

Sounds like a stolen saw if the serial # has been removed.

i finally gaved the saw to my son . i bought a new carb and saw running like it should.
