I have not been posting much because I've spent most of the last 3 weeks in camp falling trees and chipping. Next Sunday I leave for a week of summer camp with the scouts. I didn't take very many pictures from these last few weeks because of the work schedule and because I had been feeling sick. The antibiotics have worked wonders for me though and I feel like a new man.

We will start on the redwoods after summer camp. I don't much like milling but there is alot to do.

Holly sweep on that tan oak. . . . do you guys run that wire up with a block or just muckle it up?

A little of both. There was a branch on the off side that Cody through the line over so I could help with the load but mostly he hoisted it by himself.

That chipper looks wore out...

Do loggers carry ropes up a spar and then have sh!t brought up to them or do they hike up with the whole shootin match and try and rig out the tree?

I know as a wimpy lineman we use handlines and stuff and make the ground guy try and do as much work as possible.
