Quite right Ben! I meant RM<b>2</b> as the junk. I keep a few loops of RM on the truck for just the right occasions.
The Stihl chain cutters (as used on RM and RS) recede at a shallower rate than the Oregon the roller guides are designed for. I ended up dropping the front of the guide a little and raising the back by sticking a zip-tie around the top of the back guide rail slots.
The depth guide gauges work fine "out of the box" on Stihl chain. They probably give slightly more conservative results than with Oregon chain. I've never checked that aspect since I really like the results I get and don't care what the absolute measurement is.
