Independence Day

Haven't posted in a while boy's. Just hoping all my frinds out on the list have a happy 4th. I've been mowing, maintaining the place and busting about 4 cords this summer. Jesus, had a narly_ass cord of hickory, busted a yellow handle maul on that. Bought an 8 lb maul and a starting wedge and have been having to use that on some of the bigger oak blocks. Converted a Stihl man to a HUSKY on one tree. John Walker should be getting an order from Mike by this fall. Was watching a STIHL TimberSports or whatever on TV this weekend and finally saw some "HOT SAWS". They were motorcycle motors...., what 500 cc's. Anyway, absolutely awsome. Denis, I can almost feel the addiction just from watching the TV. Jeez... Awsome. 3 cuts w/the saw on the ground. Anyway, WRM is cooking a couple of shoulders tonite for some family and friends. If y'all can make it down... RBTree, put that back in it's sheath. Jeez, I think you could probably fell some 16" w/that.

Happy 4th Mike, glad to hear from you again. Missed your posts, you always have me laughing. Certainly sounds like you've been busy, gotta get hydraulic on that hickory and big oak, all that nasty curly grain. Don't forget to throw an armadillo on the spit!
