Hi guys,

I have a 346xp listed on Ebay and have had a couple of questions regarding shipping to Norway. One specifically ask if I would mark it as a gift. I assume that this would be a violation of law, but do not know. Any thoughts on international shipping and marking as a gift.

Thanks,

Jim

I expect that if you mark it as merchandise that they will impose import taxes on it when it goes thru Norway customs and your customer will have a bill waiting on them at the post office. I doubt that American customs will care enough to persue it as they aren't out any money either way.

Just my 2c,
Ian

If the saw is used, label it as a USED Power Saw. The few things that I have shipped overseas (which really were USED), were labeled as used equipment, and there were no duties or fees charged to the buyer.

FWIW,

Andy
