Echo saw are very well designed, and very well made. At the same time, they leave a lot of performance on the table...
All done and pretty much like new...new piston and cylinder, new seals, new manifold, everything else is like new.
It had obviously been run very little, and the piston was badly scored. I'm guessing it was run extremely lean. I had to pull the limiters from the carburetor and give both H and L a half turn open to get it to run properly.
