Is the oiler turned all the way up and working properly? You should have a little bit of oil left in the tank when the fuel tank runs dry. Correct bar? Oil holes lines up? I run a 28" on a 046 and it usually oils fine. On a horizontal flush cut in large sappy wood like pine or maple I will keep an oil bottle next to me and add some to the bar as I cut.

I THINK i found my problem. I think my 28" chains have more than 91 drivers, forcing the bar out far enough the oil hole in the bar goes past where it comes out of the saw.

Yes, the oiler is turned up all the way also. I may have to invest in a aux oiler for the mill.

Ho 460 oiler

A Ho oiler is standard equip. on factory full wrap models. I purchased one last year and was pleased to see that with the oiler turned all the way up it just barely runs out of gas before oil. Being that all I cut up here is soft woods it is perfect for a 32" bar.
