dont know whats between u an dennis.. . dont care.. darin runs this forum with the same authority of spike on garden web.. only he allows free flow of info to a fault almost.. dennis is his deputy..
i got to admire the way u guys stick by u friends.. thats a valuable thing.. but i never had afriend that i cared about that i wouldnt tellim if he wasin my opinion wrong..i wouldnt be the real friend i am [no brag] if i wouldnt do that.. i love having people like me .. but never at the expense of truth..come back an talk about how good your chain or anything is.. not how bad someone else is....
i f u guys really care about this man and others . be a real friend. an try an make him see that in the billions on this earth ,,its futile to be a negative..
denni c has shown wisdom ,u got a real friend in ehp and others.. be worthy ofum.. help keep this forum an exchange of positive hellpful good fellowship it can be.. ive been in many different interest .. some bringout the best some dont.. this interest chainsaws. brings out the best..

Art has had some unjust ribbing in the past and it looks like you opened your mouth at the wrong time.
Well is the modirator going to boot me because he thinks iam tom fales ? Iam not and he can think that iam but he does not know for sure. I posted . just like all of you guy's and the way i seen Martin was that he is one of the worst chain filer's around I watched the video on here that Tommy put on and soo to hear Art say stuff was to much . the way i seen it he was bashing people worse than any body . Sorry if you guy's don't like to hear that but that is what i saw.
Must be something in the water out there in LaGrande. I might be moving out that way in a couple months, looks like I'll be trucking all my water in from the "west-side".

No, I'm the worst filer around. Well, I used to be. Now, it's my neighbor, Tim.
I got better after reading Art's posts. even if Art's techniques don't directly apply to frozen hardwood in Minnesota, the ideas of paying attention to what you're doing, what it does, and why that might be apply to anything. Filing chain or shoveling horse manure.
I don't think Art Martin ever sold himself as the greatest filer in the world, just that he has done some filing. Others painted him as an icon. I think it was just a thing that got out of hand, proabably even embarassed Art a little. I do know that some guys seemed to think of Art as a close friend after only knowing him a short while.
Maybe that says much more than whether or not he's kept his filing skills at the leading edge. I don't know Art, but I do read the posts here occasionally....and for the life of me, I don't understand the reason everyone gets their undies in a bundle over this.
