I am afraid of nothing. But to try and answer your question (and I have not read the entire thread/threads) but it seems that you want to pick on one or two slight discrepenenies. To those who care, I have stood by both men and both are Champians. I have learned much from Art; including racing his saws; learning to file and how to be a gentleman. Dennis has also helped me even when I had to race against him including helping me tune saws etc.

As I see it, both play or have played at the TOP and have competed at levels most of us will never see.

That is what this is really about. You don't have to like everyone that uses this forum, Heck, I sure don't. But if I have a serious beef with someone I stay quiet! If I'm flapping my jaws its because I feel like pulling some chain (regardless of who is running a file on the darn thing).
What are you going to do when you need some help, and the only person that can help is the person you've run your trap about. It's just good policy to take grandma's advise. If you can't say something nice, don't say it at all!

Hi Bill, very true, but if it wasn't for the petty arguing and bickering, there wouldn't be anything to read here.
Granted, some of the behavior is immature at best, but regardless, everyone eventually reveals their true colors.

Thanks choppermom for posting something positive about Art. It was a welcome relief to see.

I don`t think any of us could be viewed under a microscope and not have something negative show up. Whether it be a senseless mistake we made or something that we have said based on our own perspective, which BTW is normal human nature, that isn`t entirely right. I know that Dennis C, choppermom, and tfj all have something to offer, even if it`s just ball breaking. Most of us participate in the fun and games when here, but character assasination should be considered outside the boundaries of acceptable behavior.

As I`ve said before, may the same standards apply evenly to everyone here and as long as noone is hell bent on trying to ruin the reputation of another, let`s just move along. The occassional flare ups will take care of themselves.

J.J., I don't respect a liar either, and think that's the point here. We were told of a record amount of board feet cut, and it was documented. Nothing was found at the Union museum. There were no pictures of him felling old growth redwood trees. There were pictures of Art winning a few competions, and these were posted. Did you notice in one of the pictures, Art looks just like John Lambert. LoL So what's this all mean to me? There's some truth and some Bull$hit, and I don't like to be Bull$hited.
