They are also having the certified tree worker exam there, as well as the utility one. but if you've studied for the ca test then go for it, I'd say. if that one looks like too much to start off with, get the worker one under your belt first.
Warning: the cert test is not simple. I thought I studied, and KNEW I was confident, but I flunked the cabling domain and had to retake--PITA!
ISA will check your experience credential, but imo your test score is a lot more important than your age.

Documentable experience at any age is what counts, as I understand the requirements.
