Thought while you guys a sweating, youd like to know its cold here, not real cold like some of you experience (doesnt get below 28f ever and never over 88f in summer) but bad enough to make one of our trucks really not want to start due to a rather questionable battery and it take us a while to get all glass de iced and on the job. On the bright side its 65mph winds tonight so it should be less frosty in the morning.
I like the cold but I dont know how you guys manage it.

Stay cool guys!

Well you better believe I'll be #####ing about the cold when that time arrives... For now I'm gonna ##### about the heat. :)

I'll take the heat over the cold any day though.

I don't know how some of you can handle that heat. hell today is the warmest day here for the last few weeks, If it wasn't for the breeze off the big lake it would have been miserable at about 72°. cant wait for the mercury to go back to 45-50

Put on another layer and keep at it.

Here right now, once ya get down to your skivvies ya ain't gonna get any cooler, just thinnner from all the skeeters gnawing on ya.

Enjoy it while ya got the free Beer cooler and ice cube maker!

Stay safe!

I feel the same way about the cold. Can't see how some of you do it. I get used to working in the heat and it is actually less of a discomfort than working in the cold.

I was contracting a climber out of Northern KS a few years back. He was climbing in the low teens with a freezing rain. We had all called it a day and I rode by to see how he was coming... He just smiled and waved from the top of the tree and kept on trucking... :)

Man, time is flying. It seems like it was april a few blinks of the eye ago. Maybe it's my prodigious daily beer intake, or "groundhog day" schedule of nothingness, but next thing you know tomorrow will have been last month. It's pretty damn hot here for now.

Colder the better. Put another layer on and keep working to stay warm. Too hot and there's no way to cool off and keep working. If it never got over 70 degrees I'd be happy. Cold has never stopped me from working outside. i even like winter camping!

When i was a kid i remember seeing people with safari type hats with a small fan built in the front. Does anybody else remember those and if so where can i gits me one?
