was at the back of the chipper grinding up a maple i had just cut down with a coworker today. a piece of brush knocked over one of our road cones and he goes to set it back up. he put his foot on the base plate of the cone to upright it and the cone came back and hit him in the jewels. beutiful. my man almost hit the ground pain and as i did too from laughing at him. on a rainy monday those little things can perk you right up.

Good to hear you've got proper camaraderie on your crew :D

I'll admit tho, if my ground fellas have a difficult drag and I see one of them trip and fall I make sure I'm looking back into the tree before they get up. Don't laugh at them then I remember what that was like.

I got nailed once in the family jewels by a wildly swinging throwball. Everyone else sure thought it was pretty darn funny.

Reminds me of a guy that used to work for me. He really wasn't what I would call accident prone, just clumsy and uncordinated.

He would just be walking down a sidewalk or on lawn, there would be nothing in the way and he would just trip over his own feet. Boom, down he would go, nose first. If there was a rope around he would get it tangled up in his feet, that was a for sure bet that would happen during the course of the day.

He would never make a climber, but I would let him run the bucket if nothing could be damaged. One thing he did have a talent for when he did cut was he could free fall a small log and stick it in the main crotch without fail. Now that takes talent doesn't it :D :D
