Anyone use them?

14 July I ordered some parts for a Gator outboard motor (choke linkage, a few plastic shrouds and air filter housing) along with a couple seals/gaskets for a Kohler engine and recoil parts for a Briggs. About $300 total.

I had been expecting the parts any time now but got busy and didn't get a chance to call them to check the status. Get an email today, they want $100 shipping, nothing had shipped out.

They charged me about $12 when I ordered which I thought was normal.
All the parts might be 10-15lbs total, most could fit in a flat rate box even.

I just had 3 master pins for tracks shipped 2nd day UPS, box was 38lbs, was $78 shipping.

I'm not too happy that they waited so long to let me know. I would have just cancelled it and ordered elsewhere.

Now I'm kind of SOL, the customers have been waiting ~2+ weeks as is. So now what to do?

The "well your in Alaska" isn't an excuse. I understand that perhaps $12 won't cover it, though the shipping did go off my shop address.

If it can be shipped anywhere in the L48 for $12, there's no way its an extra $90 for shipping to AK!

He'll I've shipped saws to the east coast for $60-70!

From Van Buren, Maine to me (about as far as possible) a 15lb box is $92 UPS.
