Jesse James Dupree from jackyl was here in NY the other day and he is very into the chainsaw, he even gave away a Jonsered 2045

He uses saws in some of his tunes, he stated he has some work done on his own saws. Check out there home page http://www.rockmerollmejackylmeoff.com/index.html

He was using Stihl saws but I think Jonsered gives him the 2045's to promote.

Here's a shot of him on stage. I also have the Lumberjack tune if you would like it emailed drop me a line and I will get it out. Dennis heard a little bit of it but I have to snailmail it to him since he has dial up and no sound on his computer "looser"

Looks like the chips are flying in that gig.
How do they keep the sawdust and chips out of the guitars?

Jackyl!

I liked a lot of their music, especially the first album with the Lumberjack song. I hear they have some new stuff out just recently. Jesse James Dupree gets a little grating to listen to after too long, but a lot of their tunes are pretty good IMO. I always thought they should use a manly-man's chainsaw - those little 'Reds sound ok, but howz about a power tuned 346xp or something else similar ?
If anyone's interested maybe I could get the mp3 out here somewhere.
