Info should be on the bar. eg: .325 .050 72DL. And the rim sprocket will be labeled .325 or 3/8. Determine chain pitch by measuring center to center on 3 rivets and divide by 2. There may be #s on chain to determine pitch if you know mfg.
If it was mismatched, it would run horribly.
Lotsa reading on .325 vs 3/8. Probably best to stay with what you have- you need to determine.
