I need to talk my uncle out of his 800.

nothing they ever put their name on was worth $20.......if it is an Efco 156 I will give you 5 times that for it.
Since I'm feeling generous this morning, I'll double up on that 20 bucks for every 66SV Deere saw you find me, Hell I'll even through in a 100
bucks finders fee.
Seriously I will give you 20 bucks for any JD saw in any condition you have or find plus whatever it cost to ship to me.

My BIL has a CS52 (efco 152), great lil firewood saw. He has run that thing hard for four years now. I think the OP has a smaller one in his sights. I dunno if the smaller efco's are clamshell or not, but if they are.......not really the first saw Id want to "learn" on. A Husqvarna 55 51 or 50 are as simple and easy as they come, but hey Im orange biased

I have a John Deere Cs-52. I believe its made by Efco. I have ran this saw for 6 years now with only replacing air filters/spark plugs and a lost cap or two. Awesome smaller saw. Am I correct this is the same as the Efco 152?
