did u get your money back glenn?
Stay with the 2165. That way all of your saws will be the lower performance models. In turn, they will last longer, not be susceptible to lean burn down, not wear them selves out, and never have to be sent out for over haul. The 2153s and 2171s are too powerful and will wear out prematurely.
Good evening Guys,
Well it looks like the guy that stole my money is going to sit through the prison time instead of refund my money. I have been looking and looking for a 2171 to join my 2152 and 2139T but I think I am just going to go with a 562XP and call it a day. I would really like to sell or trade my like new 2152 plus cash of course for a new or like new 562XP. Are there any dealers on here that you guys would recomend or privite guys that may be interested? This whole situation blows.
Thanks again,
Glenn
Just get one even the 2065 a jug kit if it need be they are all good saws a 48 to a52 jug will work you can do anything with this saw badto the boneGood morning Guys,
I have been lurking in the shadows for a while now and reading tons of threads on this wonderful site! I have a Jonsered 2139T, 2152 and I am looking for a 65 - 70CC saw and have been going back and forth on the 2166 or 2165. I am aware of the differences and have reached out to a few saw shops. The guys selling new saws tell me to go with the 2166 of course but the guys that have older saws and are into custom work all say go with the 2165 and avoid the x-torque. So I guess I am looking for guys that have the x-torque saws: Do you guys have any issues with these saws and if so is there a way to fix them for good or is it something I am going to have to keep sending out to be over hauled and I should in the end just stay away from the x-torque?
Thank you in advance,
Glenn
He probably already got a saw, as this thread was 8 months ago...Just get one even the 2065 a jug kit if it need be they are all good saws a 48 to a52 jug will work you can do anything with this saw badto the bone
the 562xp is way better than the 390 stihl I have a new 391 stihl I wish I keep the money in my pocket,my jonsered [ the new one ]2255 is 3,8 hrs power, and very light mid range saw will out cut the 391,now that's stihls high end ranch saw, 600 for the 391 the jonsred 2255 was 390 bucks, and a close comparisment is my 2166 and that kills the 391 not even close, thats 70cc 4,8 hrs power,I had a Stihl MS390 that I liked but sold to a neighbor. Would the 562 be comparable to that saw in power? On paper it should be a little lighter.
Thanks,
Glenn
