I search and cant find the answer so I will ask it striaght out is a

JONSERED 820 a good saw looking at buying a used one

Saw a comment in oe thread about it not being a "real JONSERED" is this good or bad?

It is the same saw as the 920, but with a smaller bore, making it 80.7cc.

These saws have a pretty good reputation, and were among the first "Elux Jonsereds". The most obvious change from the earlier generation Jreds (910, 801, 90), is the Partner type handle system.
 
I was working for the Jonsered distributer when the 820 was introduced
Good saw, heavier than the 181 Husky which we were competing with at the time( early 80s) but waaay better anti vibe,also seemed to stand up better than the 181 which were hand grenades when they first came out.Watch out for the blue (prufex) ignitions,solder the lead to the coil and beware of the
upper av rubber failing if a second mount is not installed on the rh side of the
back handle. Also note that the 281 piston will work so you can likely get one
from one of the jobber guys on ebay.Lots of parts aval for this family of saws.
