Didn't we establish here awhile back that the Metric crank seal 15X30X6 (thanks Tim) can be replaced with a 15X30X7 seal?

This one walked in to my shop this week. It had been setting for too long and turns out the metering diaphragm was as stiff as a piece of dried out rawhide. Runs nicely now, since the original owner had passed away and they were cleaning out the old place I was able to pick it up pretty reasonably.
170+ PSI compression and good spark, kit in the carburetor and all it needs now is a good cleaning.

Good series saw (910/920/930)....
Partner sure bulked it up on the handles of the 920/930. You could anchor a boat to those handles...lol.

This is an interesting "crossover" model. I can't read the year but I'd guess it was built in '83 or '84. The serial tag has dropped the "S" but the rest of the saw still has the full "Jonsereds".

Any of you jonsered guys know what saws share a common o/o switch with the 451E? At least size wise? My 451E has a busted switch and trying to do a workaround. The hole in the case has a ~11/32” hole. Too small to use big box switches without drilling

Same switch as any other Jonsereds of the same era.......50, 49sp/52/52E, 621, 66/70E 60/90 and on and on and on all the 4XX saws and 5xx saws except the 490 and 590

Meant to answer this earlier but got sidetracked. I believe it will......they work in all the other Jonsereds that take the same OEM seal that the 111 takes so I don't see why not....make sure you get double lipped ones.......I've had good luck with these but I'm pretty sure there are other brands that will work. Don't drive them in any deeper than you have to as they are 1 mm deeper/thicker.

Just sold a 621 on eBay and took a BEATING! Went for $200 (no reserve auction). I had more $ and a lot of time sunk into it. Here's the link - https://www.ebay.com/itm/323788103607
Was hoping it would approach $400. Was I wrong on value? Sold at the wrong time of year? Or is this one of these "in-between" saws? Not many are using it for firewood anymore but still not terribly collectible?

Scott.....I think you got trashed. One of those rare times on eBay where you hit a void/slump.
This isn’t a bad time of yr, not like summer or immediately post Xmas. Not the best time like fall, but you got robbed.
I’m sorry man....I know you had a lot in that saw. Hell, if I didn’t have one I would have bought yours because it was yours.
There were a lot of 621’s made, but I don’t think that’s the issue here.
I guess the moral here is; have a reserve that at least covers your expenses.
